On April 22nd, Parts Town, the global market leader in foodservice equipment parts distribution, acquired the assets of Dayton Appliance Parts Co., a leading Midwest distributor of residential appliance parts.  Headquartered in Dayton Ohio, Dayton Appliance Parts Co. has been family owned and operated since 1937. The company operates from twelve locations in three states and features extensive inventory of OEM parts for over 100 leading residential appliance manufacturers. Importantly, Dayton’s employees are some of the most experienced and knowledgeable in the industry.

Exciting news from vendor partner The Middleby Corporation! On April 21, 2021, The Middleby Corporation and Welbilt, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement under which Middleby will acquire Welbilt in an all-stock transaction, enhancing the Middleby Commercial Foodservice platform with an attractive portfolio of products, brands and technologies. This transaction will bring together two complementary businesses, accelerate the Middleby growth strategy into key markets globally and increase core capabilities in highly attractive segments.

Nissco Welcomes Ice-O-Matic and T&S Brass and Bronze Works

We are pleased to welcome Ice-O-Matic and T&S Brass and Bronze Works to the Nissco Restaurant Dealer Group. 

Ice-O-Matic provides a full line of cubers, flakers and their patented Pearl Ice® machines. In addition, they offer storage bins, dispensers and water filters.

T & S Brass and Bronze Works manufactures faucets, fittings and specialty products and accessories for the foodservice, industrial, commercial plumbing and laboratory markets.

Get to Know Randy Brunschwig, CEO of Nissco & Excell

Randy Brunschwig lives out of a mindset focused on opportunity, relationships and growth. After starting his career in corporate finance, he took a risk to redirect his life 17 years ago when he took the helm of the Excell Buying Group. With commitment to his dealer and vendor partners, he expanded their network a few years ago and today is the President and CEO of Excell and Nissco Buying Groups.

2021 Better Lives Makeover Winner: The Lily Pad Cafe

 

DENVER – FEBRUARY 22, 2021– Cooking Up Better Lives, Excell’s and Nissco’s nonprofit org, has selected a winner for the 2021 Better Lives Makeover: The Lily Pad Café in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

The Lily Pad is a 501c3 non-profit that will focus on the employment & training of young adults with special needs. The cafe will employ and train young adults with special needs in every aspect of food and hospitality service.

The Lily Pad Café will equip young adults with the training and experience necessary to obtain employment by local businesses so that they can not only achieve their full potential, but also display to the community their abundant talents and abilities.

This nominee was brought forth by Nissco Restaurant Dealer Group’s dealer member, Cody Allen of FS-1 Concepts. FS-1 Concepts has pledged services of layout/design, receiving, warehousing, delivery, and installation to the project.
